Seriously, I can't even count the number of times this blog gets hits from people searching for Rick Ousley and wanting to know where he is now.
And Ray Boltz.
Ah, but I don't sell ads. However, I would like to direct you to a free Bible. It really is free and it's a great program, very user friendly and easy to figure out.
Because when men fail you, the God of all hope will not.
From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

$1 million awarded to girl abused at 15 by pastor
Jefferson County jury awards $1 million judgment against former youth minister who had sex with 15-year-old girl

"The victim in that case, [NAME WITHHELD BY THIS EDITOR], now 24 and married, filed a lawsuit in 2009, alleging seduction of a minor, assault and battery. The jury today returned a verdict in Jefferson County Circuit Court for $500,000 in compensatory and $500,000 in punitive damages, said Echols' attorney, Johnny Brunson.
"They found that she was 15 when he initiated contact," Brunson said. "She testified that he sexually assaulted and sexually abused her beginning when she was 15."
To the folks at First Baptist Church in Hammond, you defenders of Schaap and those who participated in the cover up, (lying and saying that Jack Schaap was on "medical leave,"); the above article is posted to show you what Davis Gibbs and the CLA can't save you from (when he advises you in writing and in video taped sermons to investigate reports of sex abuse in your church on your own and decide if it's worth reporting, before you call the law.)
The CLA and David Gibbs can give you all the wrong advice in the world. You can believe it as long as you want. But when an impartial jury gets the case, you are going to pay.
Those that covered it up: You are going to pay.
So Preacher, before you believe the wrong recommendations from David Gibbs about investigating sex abuse on your own when it's reported to you, better check the law in your state.
(Google is your friend.) You preacher, are a mandated REPORTER. You are not allowed by the law to investigate and decide whether or not you should report sex crimes. You are not allowed to cover these things up. You are not allowed to investigate before you report the crime. It's the law. Romans chapter 13 also.
Because the cover up is going to cost you far more than you really want to pay, in more ways than one.

"God Is Sovereign - but do Christians really act as though this is true when it comes to politics? This short segment focuses on the extent of power God flexes in the political realm. It also points out that one of the idols U.S. Christians bow down to during election time was not something the founding fathers considered essential to a free republic."

Not only does First Baptist Church Hammond take your designated offering and use it for what ever they want, (no matter what you donated it for), if they cover up a deacon or pastor raping your daughter and you find out, they make you agree that you won't sue them for damages. Homosexual perversion in Boy Scouts winked at by Boy Scout executives
Just when you think it can't get any worse, the L.A. Times uncovers the aptly named Perversion Files of the Boy Scouts of America. The articles are a must read and the writers certainly deserve a Pulitzer.
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2012/10/boy-scouts-perversion-files-released-the-secrets-are-out.html
But a quick read through the supporting documents shows the depth of depravity that the homosexuals in the Boy Scouts of America have foisted upon innocent kids. And in most cases the top executives in the BSA did nothing more than wink at the problem. Just like the Catholic Church and the Southern Baptist Church and yes, many Independent Baptist churches, the cover up started at the top.
For example, after an Air Force investigation proved the validity of the abused boys accusations, BSA executive Paul Ernst suggests that sleeping nude with pre-adolescent boys and showing them pornography wasn't enough to bar pervert (Kenneth Burns) from the Boy Scouts.
Ernst attributes those actions by an obvious predator as "poor judgement" but not enough to bar Burns from working with the Boy Scouts in another location.

Billy Graham: Big sell out and disgrace to the Gospel - endorses Mormon Cult
Billy Graham's organization removes Mormonism its list of cults
Influential pastor Billy Graham is signaling to evangelical Christians that they shouldn't hesitate to vote for Mitt Romney because of his Mormon religion, further cementing Romney's strong standing with the key Republican voting bloc.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association this week removed Mormonism from its list of religious cults, the Charlotte Observer reports. Mormons consider themselves Christians, though not all of their beliefs align with mainstream Christian doctrine.
The association dropped the label after Romney visited Graham and his son Franklin Graham, who now runs the organization, last week. In his six decades of ministry, Billy Graham has served as a spiritual adviser to several presidents, though he's never formally endorsed a presidential candidate. Are Mormon's a cult? Is Mitt Romney a cult member? According to the Bible, yes.
For more details on what the cult of Mormon believes please see this article by David Cloud at Way of Life.
"Note the following quote from, “What Mormons Think of Christ” (LDS publication, pages 32-34):
“Christians speak often of the blood of Christ and its cleansing power. Much is believed and taught on this subject, however, it is utter nonsense and so palpably false that to believe it is to lose one’s salvation.”

Is Billy Graham a heretic and apostate? Yes, according to the Bible.
