As of October 18th these services officially became GracePoint Church. Sin is sin in God's eyes, but Jesus warned those teaching that they would be held to a higher standard and judged accordingly. Rick has lived a life of deceit, preaching one message, but living the exact life he preached against. That was the exact message Jesus taught against when he said in Matthew 23 that people should listen to what the Pharisees said, but "do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach." "Everything they do is done for men to see..." Jesus goes on to say "woe....." six times placing a big emphasis on their teaching but no full filling a Godly life.
