Former Fundys Team Blog

There's a new blog on the block. Former Fundy's Team Blog. Go there by clicking here.

Go easy on them. They are young people who have not really found anything they are willing to suggest in place of their former beliefs. But I thought some of my readers might find it interesting to take a peek at the mindset of some of the younger set who have left Biblical Fundamentalism.

  1. Actually, some of us have found something that we are willing to suggest in place of our former beliefs. Depending on what you mean by "former beliefs" in any event, and what you mean by "put in place of." I would definitely describe myself as a Biblical Fundamentalist, who has left Hyper-Fundamentalism. I do think that you may be referring quite specifically to somebody, and I won't comment on that here.

  2. No, I am not referring to anyone specifically.

I do find that they commit what they consider to be one of the main "sins" of fundamentalism, "being against" something instead of talking about what they are for.

It doesn't bother me though. I realize that most young people are easily influenced by what they perceive to be intellectual arguments against Biblical Fundamentalism.

I don't think that IFB'ism is representative of Biblical Fundamentalism.
